hi you can use codes to unlock your hp ipaq data messenger.you can get the codes from this site simpleunlocking here they ask the country and the network name to which your mobile is locked .finally they will send you the codes to unlock your mobile along with the instruction about how to use the codes in your mobile.

In normal case to change the language of the operating system press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Locale & text > Select Locale and then select the language you want to use.
And
If you have installed 'rom' by selecting a language after purchase then the only way to change it is to install a new rom with the language you want. The issue is that Windows Mobile does not allow the user to change the language of the rom once it is installed.
You need to contact HTC to ask them for a replacement rom that is in English.

in the German menus select menu
select display
select language
English will now be available to select.

Do 1 think just do hardreset ur mobile then after start it it will ask for choose a language then u can select english language but remember after hardreset data will be lost or u can change it from start>program .. , for hardreset ur mobile u need to enter a pin into a small whole which locates near the cardle port .

If you have only flashed the English ROM, not any other language ROMs, read the following paragraphs. If you have flashed other language ROMs but not the German one try flashing the German one instead, there is something about it that clears the ppc out better. If you have flashed the German one, do not read on, as it will be an insult to your intelligence.

Most problems can be fixed with a ROM correction. Unfortunately, this is unachievable by simple re-flashing the English ROM. Certain other versions of the ROM (usually German is used) contain different enough sets of code (possibly different firmware?) to force the ppc to truly reset, unlike what happens when simply flashing the US ROM or changing to ROMS that use similar enough coding. Try flashing the German ROM and THEN reverting to the English. This tends to solve most any major iPaq issue.
