You have bad 2200uf 16volt capacitors in your power supply, probably 4 of them. I repaired a unit with this exact problem a bout 4 weeks ago. If you have a friend or family member who knows how to solder, you can get the parts for under $10.

get a memory stick( flash drive) and up load their soft ware from their
site. I plug the stick into the computor and uploaded the software.
I then plugged the stick into my TV on the side. A screen came up and
the software loaded on the TV successfully. The red light then turned
to green. However, I now have to unplug and plug the TV several times
for it to turn on. It works fine but once the TV is turns on, but when
I turn it off and it cools for a while I have to repeat the same
proceedure off plugging and unplugging
Please make sure your connectors are in the proper place.
