My samsung yp-s3 mp3 player wont let me put videos on it

After 2 days of figuring out, I came with the solution today. Most probably your computer is running under windows vista. well emodio doesnt support such to do the transfer. What I did is downloaded a program (free) called "any video converter". All videos have to be converted in WMV extension file, so emodio can recognize and does the conversion to SVI ( the yp-s3 extension). So after you convert the original files into WMV files, take the converted files and add them into emodio. Emodio will convert it into SVI, but the transfer to the MP3 will failed. This is the magic:

close emodio. Leave your MP3 conected. Go to where emodio saves the converted files. When u go to that folder, you will see your files, but you can tell your computer wont be able to play it, as the files icon is just with a white background. Just drag it into the YP-S3 video folder and voila! Disconnect your MP3 from the computer, turn it on and enjoy your videos!!!!!!!!!!

MY MP3 WONT LET ME DOWNLOAD VIDEOS

You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert/transfer videos. If the converter is not recognizing a specific video type - FLV, for instance - download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder and convert the videos to AVI format first. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.

The Philips Media Converter is not capable of converting an entire DVD - you will have to acquire video editing software, and then break up the DVD files into 15-minute chunks, and then convert each chunk.

If you are getting a codec error, do a google search for free video codecs - they are out there. Windows Codec Pack and downloading the latest version of quicktime will give you most of these needed codecs.

This player is not capable of playing copyright-protected videos - so don't even bother with them.

Additional information is available both from Philips website and from Arcsoft's website.

I dont know how to get videos converted

Use the Philips Media Converter to convert the videos. If it won't take them, use Riva FLV Encoder to convert the videos to AVI format first, and then re-convert them using the Philips Media Converter.

Hi help me

You will have to convert all FLV videos to an AVI format using FLV Encoder or some other free program. Then the media converter will recognize them, and you can transfer them to your GoGear. Copyrighted music videos will not convert no matter what you do.
