Hi Steve. Take the bolt that goes through the rotor and screw it in to about 1/4 inch from being fully seated. Now take a small hammer and strike the head of the bolt squarely, so not to damage the head. The rotor should come loose after a few strikes. If you have a small air hammer use it to "hammer" the bolt head. The force should loosen it. This is what I do to remove rotors. Been doing it for 30 years,

The shaft end has a tapered fit along with a key. The trick is to apply pressure outward on the flywheel while tapping on the end of the shaft with a brass-head hammer--it usually releases suddenly, so be prepared. Hope this helps!
