The only reason I know is by allowing the cartridge to completely run out of ink. That is why you cannot print in black only when a colour has expired. The printer does not only use the black cartridge it uses a bit from each cartridge to ensure the nozzles stay clean.

Air in inkline epson 7600 pro

When u change the printhead on this unit you must be very sure that u unplug it from the wall before u remove the ribbons.t is important that u disconect the line in question from the damper. Take a serenge and start priming the line, make sure ur cartrige is in place, don\'t worry u wil not lose the ink. Prime that thing until u see no more bubbles . Re connect the damper and once that\'s done prime the damper until its full, connect to head Andy should have a working line. If ur serenge is full of ink u can inject it back in the cartrige. Do not do this while printer is on or u will invite more bubbles.....mike

I cannot find the sub menu on my Epson Stylus pro 7600 printer as I have air in one of the ink lines and i need to re charge it

I'd suggest just performing a cleaning cycle as this will also get rid of air in the ink tubes.

If you realy have a need for it holding down the following buttons at power on enables you to enter the service menu: paper-source + paper-feed-down + cut/eject
just be really careful as you can cause a lot of damage within this menu to your printer.

I have an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 with a Agfa Sherpa 24M sticker on it. Baught some cartridges from Epson but I get Wrong ink message. Any way to work around this problem?

You need to either buy AGFA cartridges ot apparently you can take the chip off the AGFA cartridge and put it on a Epson or compatible. It will always say it's empty but should still work

Epson Pro 7600 Service required error

Service required mean waste ink counter overflow. You need to reset it. SSC Service utility don't work with this type. The resetter is not for free, it's commercial. Only some distributor have it.
