I have the above machine and it keeps having an OE error come up when time to drain & spin, I have cleaned fliter and made sure there is not any kinks in hose, but still to no avail, then I ran machine without any washing in it and it completed the spin cycle no probs, what could this be??
Thanks
Donna
You will find that the pressure sensor sampling tube is blocked with soap deposits. Needs to be cleaned out for the sensor to work properly.
LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer
Had the same problem. After checking that all the hoses etc were clear and no blockages, then suspected that the pump (cost $90 Australian dollar) was faulty. The Westinghouse service technician acknowledged that that was probably the problem, which I then confirmed by pulling out the pump, and then carefully connecting 240V across the pump terminals. Certainly was a faulty pump. So I spent the money on a new pump and installed it and now the washing machine (6 to 7 years old) works fantastically.

Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
OE is a drain error and is displayed when the
washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump
filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any
other questions.

Hi Kebab
Same issue only my model is a WD-1290RD. Haqve cleaned the fiters many times and can often coax the washer to actually finish by aborting the rinse, power down, drain, reposition the load (once to door is unloacked post drain), restart the rinse only cycle on a different spin speed? Really **** solution and the LG site is useless, even the manual doesn't download! Love to hear any fixes out there.... Steve
