Make sure all the screws on the back holding the stand to the tv are tight.

If you can, lay the tv down gently flat on its back and look at the bottom of the base to see if you are missing any little rubber pads. If you are, just glue something rubber-like of equal size / shape / thickness in its place, or remove the rest of the rubber pads to make it all even.

Good luck and post back how you make out.

Also have a good look at the table or stand that it is sitting on. Maybe it's the table that not perfectly flat or stable.

37LG30 TV. The swivel stand is very wobbly. How do I fix?

Remove the actual stand (4 bolts are hidden in a sunken down spot for them on the back of the tv.

Once the stand is out of the tv, look down to where the swivel joint is at, you should see 4 screws that are going towards the bottom of the stand, those will be the loose screws.

I just fixed mine.

I just purchased a 52 inch phillips tv and the stand that the tv sits on adds 2 inches which doesn't allow the tv to fit in my entertainment center. What can I do?? I need a shorter stand...

Just take off the stand altogether if you can lay the TV close enough to a solid vertical support.

My 47'' Philips spent about a year without a stand sitting on a desk and leaning on a wall.

It's heavy enough and as you approach to completely vertical position its main force will be pointing down, not forward.

If you can't lean it on anything solid or if it doesn't sit well while in an entertainment center...not sure what I'd suggest....short of adjustable wall mount stands...

TV wobbles on its pedestal stand.

Sounds like stand has been installed wrong an maybe miss aligned, and screws may be loose! Try removing and start over, or call installer back.

Yes! these TVs are very top heavy and it is normal! as far as your stand it should not wobble too much but it should be ok!9If you have dogs or kids you might want to invest in a sturdy stand! for safty sake!

Bought a 50 philips (50pfp5332d/37). went to assemble on the stand and their were no screws. Called philips and they sent me a bag of screws that don't fit. I called again and they have no other screws...

Take the tv off the stand and lean it against soemthing, take the stand to a hardware shop and find some bolts that match the threads inside the stand. I think that would be your best bet. Just dont lay the tv down, if you have ot put it in the box thats ok, I just dont want it to get broken while we hunt down some screws.
