It must be a lens problem. Could be a semi-broken lens FLEX cable - happens to brake in these cameras (also FE-330). The FLEX is available on ebay, but it takes some technical knowledge and experience to replace, so you should give it to a camera technician. Also there could be a problem with the focus system. It could be cheaper to buy a new camera. As lens main and shutter flex cables brake on this model, I wouldn't suggest you investing money in the repair as it will fail again - sooner or later. I have repaired a lot of these.

My kodak easyshare V1253 Powers up, then shuts off

You have damaged your lens. If the camera can not move the lens it goes through a built in diagnostics test and shuts down. Beyond repair as cost to replace is beyond the value of your camera.

The lens comes out then the camera turns off

Your camera has it own doctor built in, if it sees an internal error it will shut down. When a camera turns on it goes through a series of tests, if one of these test fails your camera records an error. If the lens is moving in and out your camera is trying to get the lens to function. As such you have a faulty camera.

Lens goes in and out three times when turning on or shutin off.

Try Power Resetting the Camera.
To Power Reset the Camera, First, please turn OFF the Camera.
Then, remove the battery pack from the Camera.
Then, press and hold the POWER button on the Camera for 30 seconds.
Then, reinsert the battery pack and check whether the issue is resolved.
If the issue still persists service of the Camera is recommended.

Canon Powershot SI screen goes black after taking a photo

That sounds like a sticky lens shutter. They usually have to be replaced, as they usually will need parts. When the camera is working look inside the lens and take a picture(with flash turned off). You should see a black shutter door clicking shut in the lens. When the camera acts up, look inside the lens again. If the door is staying shut full time, that is your problem.
