If you are sure that the backlight board is good and that correct power is reaching your board then you might have a problem with the bulbs themselves. Also make sure that the board is grounded.
Suddenly, the sound for LCD 42PFL3605/12 dissapeared. Resetted to factory settings, upgraded firmware, but no result. The TV ran just 24 hours. Please, help!
HELLO it sounds like a couple of things could be wrong. you could have what they call a dry socket or a bad, cold solder joint. what it means is that on the power supply section of the chassis the tv has gotten so hot that the solder has melted away frrom its connection and it is not making true contact on the chassis. if you know how to solder you can fix this yourself.. you will need some 60/40 rosin core solder and a soldering gun that is not over 40 watts. you will need to go over the connections on the chassis in the power supply section. hope this helps you just remember you must unplug your set before working on it. GOOD LUCK
Ok, I'll try. First, I don't trust cable techs. While I'm sure he's a competent person in his own right, When he says the signal from the outside was good, that tells me he measured the LEVEL not the QUALITY. What I need some more info on is your comment regarding "...cable supplier changed their format." What did they change it from [when things were working(?)] and what was it changed to?
What city is this cable system in?
Did the tech try another box or does the connection plug directly into the set?
Have you tried another TV to see if you get the same result?
Is the black line horizontal (Left to right) or vertical (Up and down)?
This sounds like a sync problem that the TV is trying to lock in on but can't.
Let me know what you find, thank you.
