Try and determine what sound card is there- Make & Model, version, etc. Then Google and search for that manufacture directly. Follow these steps to get started-
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.? If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category. You should be able to get the information you need to search the internet for the driver. Note If you think you have a sound card installed but you don't see it under the Sound, video and game controllers category, expand the Other devices category and check any devices listed there. If there is a yellow question mark next to the name of the sound card, there might be a problem. Right-click the name of the sound card, and then clickProperties. Click the General tab, and then look in the Device status box to identify problems with the sound card. Also Dell usually includes a driver disk with there equipment when new. You could use if if you can find it.
