Change the language from spanish to english on my tom tom one 3rd edition

it all depends if you have the english version or spanish version or multi language.
if you have multi language one you would have to go through setup to set it as english you can do that by using the restore disk or by pressing f8 after restarting it while it reboots it should take you in to advanced boot menu

1. Press Tools, the symbol in the bottom right corner of a spanner.
2. Press Settings, the symbol in the top left corner of a spanner.
3. Press Language, the symbol of lips

You'll see 3 bars one for text language, one for voice language and one for keyboard layout.
Press each one in turn and select english as the language.

in order to change the language you would need to be at the map on the device. Tap in the center of the map, then tap on the blue wrench or the gear on the main menu. Then you would tap on the arrow on the bottom right until you find 3 flags. Once in there you would be able to change your language.

Yup, that happens.

From the Main Menu, click Change preferences.

there is an icon that is flags select this option and then find the language you prefer

Switch your tom tom on and look for menú and click on it,
then scroll to instalación then you should find idioma. this is where you will be able to change the language back to english

I have a TomTom One 3rd Edition, so if your model is different, the menus/icons may not be the same. However, it's worth a shot. Tap the main part of the screen to bring up the main menu. You will see an upper and a lower row of icons. Click on the blue "wrench" icon (lower row, center icon). Then, click the arrow (the blue triangle) on the next 3 screens. When you see the icon with 3 waving flags (top row, left icon), click on it. Then scroll down to select either English UK or English US.
