I own a LC195SLX 19'' Sylvania High definition television and whenever I play games on my xbox 360 system, there is always a delay from what I press on the controller and the reaction that I see on screen. I have changed the resolution on the xbox 360 settings to 720p and have changed the video picture on the tv settings to "Game". I have bought an HDMI cable as well to use. Is there any way to minimize the lag without buying another television?

Hi
You will have to open the back of the television to repair the television, and care must be taken by unplugging the power plug of the television.
A common problem for these is bad capacitors in the power supply, Remove the back from your Television and look at the power supply on the left hand side.

You will see roughly around 9 x capacitors that are bulged / domed shaped on top usually these are valued at 3300uf 10V any that have bulged or leaked a brown like substance should be changed.
This will cure the problem as they overheat being sat next to a heatsink that gets very hot!
Try and change them for the same 3300uf but a higher voltage.
Hope this help in solving the problem and do take care because it contain high voltages

SOURCE: I have a 19" Sylvania

Hello! This can be frustrating to watch!! To change the format on your DISH remote, all that you need to do is press the * button below the number 7 on the keypad. This will change the format for the TV so that you find the one that suits you best. The best that I have found is Zoom. I hope this help!

My xbox 360, Reads To play this disc put in xbox 360 console! How can i fix it?

I recommend clearing your system cache. To do this go to My Xbox > System Settings > Memory, highlight your storage disk, press Y and select "clear cache." Try to run the disk again. If the Xbox is still failing to properly read the disk I suggest bringing it to a gaming store near you and have them put a new drive in it. This is most definitely a hardware error, and has nothing to do with your disks.

How do I fix a fuzzy screen

A fuzzy television screen is generally not the fault of the game console itself, but of your television.

The Xbox 360 is an HD game console, and from personal experience, trying to render an hd image in 480i Standard Definition will cause it to look somewhat fuzzy regardless of the television.

Just to make sure it is not the Xbox, I would, if possible, suggest you try the 360 on another television, preferrably with the HD cables (remember that there's a switch on the cable itself that you will need to switch from SD to HD).

Unfortunately, if you do not have access to a high def television, you can always fiddle with the contrast and sharpness on your standard def TV to reduce the fuzzyness, but the screen will always be somewhat fuzzy.

I realize this is probably not the answer you wanted, but to solve this problem for my own Xbox, I ended up purchasing an inexpensive HD Television.

  1. Turn on the Xbox 360 console.
  2. In the Xbox Dashboard, select System, and then press the A button.
  3. Select Console Settings, and then press the A button.
  4. Select Display, and then press the A button.
  5. Select PAL settings, and then press the A button.
  6. Select PAL-60, and then press the A button.
  7. When you are prompted to keep these new settings, confirm the settings, and then press the A button.
Note Some older TVs do not support PAL 60 Hz. If you do not know whether your TV supports PAL 60 Hz, contact the manufacturer of your TV or see the owner's manual.

Emerson LCD HDTV 19 inch won't connect to Xbox 360

Im not an expert on the 360s, but I believe there is a switch or option on them to play them in HD feed. They must be set to play HD as far as I understand.
