Interesting, I'm looking for a solution to a similar issue. Our new (7 month old) 30'' Wolf Range has this issue. When both front burners are light, the back burner's electronic starter begins to click, but only when you put a pan on the front left burner. I believe the iron/steel in the pan is causing a magnetic field thats starting the rear burner to go off.. just don't know.. will report back after the repair person comes.

Wolf gas stove top will not start

All stoves have a gas shut off valve. Make sure your gas dryer still works because you paid your gas bill. Yours might be located under the stove or in the basement.

The whole stove exploded while preparing dinner. Please any idea what would cause this to happen. My husband was slightly injured. Glass was flying everywhere. The cook top is 10 years old and we purchased...

it sounds like you got a dead short under the glass top , it could be a wire that shorted or some type of bug that got into the elements , I would even open the top with out pulling the plug out of the wall ,if it is 10 years old mite not be worth fixing but it should be looked at before you decide Frank

Generally there is a number after the F. It sounds like some liquid got into the electrical, sometimes if you wait about a week for it to dry it will work. If not, you would need to call a service tech

always unplug electricity before attempting to repair on any electrical appliance

Wolf electric induction stovetop

I had that happen once and it went off after a day. I'd suggest maybe turning off the breaker and wait a few minutes and turn it back on. But here's my problem for you. I got the 30" model in March, 2008. The problem I've had is that the induction units cool down and start cycling when I'm cooking something like bacon, or pork chops etc., ie. where you're trying to brown something or sear. They cycle up and down every couple of minutes, so its really annoying. They work fine if I'm boiling water for pasta or sauces, etc. Have you experienced this. I've been working with the dealer and the company and they say its a "software" problem, but they've haven't taken them off the market. I use All-Clad stainless steel pans so that's not the issue. Thanks for your comments.
