Hello &
Welcome to FixYa If the belt
comes off then it is recommended to replace it. However, you can check this
video on how to put a new belt or same belt: Please get
back to me if you have any other questions. Kevin
Yes the unit comes apart to replace this belt....if it came off the fan then then fan needs replacement
OK....Thats awesome
This belt coming off is an on going problem with this dryer. I purchased my Bravos 5.0 in Dec 2010 and mine threw the belt two weeks ago. It was the pulley coming off the fan shaft that threw the belt. Others have said that the technician said the set screw was loose. My pulley does not have a set screw. It looks like they forgot to put loctite on the threads before assembly. I'm waiting for the repair tech to come out Wed to fix ours. The previous tech waited till one hour left of the 4 hour window to cancell last Friday. Hope this helps.
Just put some loc-tite on that pulley and screw it on and install the belt, piece o cake

Hi Kevin,
That would have been perfect if it was the drum belt where I was having the problem. The belt that came off is for the fan in the exhaust system, part #29, page 5 of the parts manual. Any ideas?
Thanks
I did not need to take the unit apart to reinstall the belt, just took some looking and creativity. I have been running it now for about an hour, clothes are drying, no issues with the fan.
