Writing at bottom wavy--middle of line up--ends of line down on each side. Almost double (shadowed) images and color fade--almost pink tint. Sometimes complete (red) sillouette of person on other side of TV.

You have internal screen damage from dropping it, you can either watch it this way or buy a new set

T con board is bogus.

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

Convergence ICs have failed. The Sony type 1 convergence repair kit available from www.tvrepairworld.com is the correct kit for your model. The kit contains the parts and the CD with instructions.

Sounds like you may have a convergence board failure.

IT SOUNDS LIKE A PINCUSHION PROBLEM. IN MOST CASES IT IS DUE TO CAPACITORS GOING BAD ON THE BOARD. OTHER TIMES SOME TV'S HAVE LARGE MICROCHIPS THAT RUN THE PINCUSHION AND COLOR SYNC. HOPE THAT HELPS.

It sounds like you have leaky toner or the imaging drum needs to be replaced.

I am having the same problem and so far unable to fix,

Either a bad optical block or possibly a bad LVDS cable, you need a qualified tech to know for sure

There are failures occuring in the scann and convergence circuits. This may not be feasible to service.
