Canon 2220 "ROM ERROR" and won't work.

Hi,
First Unplug the printer for 10 minutes. Then start your printer it will work fine.
Then execute eprom clear in Test mode.

If you still face the problem then there is a bad solder connection or a power surge. Loose wire is always possible.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
this means that you have problem with fixing assy. Best solution would be to replace fixing unit.

And,... did you consider to buying new one,... try with Canon image runner 3225N. Its a NORMAL copier. :-)

Printer offline error code 0322

Sounds like the fixing film has gone bad..... and or the dc power supply could have gone bad in it. i would call a service tech to come out and take a look at it if you haven't already done so.

Problem sending & Receiving Fax Imageclass D880 Canon All in one printer

#0018 indicates there was a problem with dialing, but it should show for sending faxes only. Since you can neither send nor receive faxes, and are getting a message saying "no signal", make sure that the phone line is still securely connected to both the L (line) jack on the machine and the phone jack in the wall. If it is, plug another phone into the accessory jack on the machine, and check to see if you are getting a dial tone. It seems like the machine is not able to communicate through the phone line.

Error message on printer E000

E000 is a fixing unit problem. It could just be needing to be reset or replacement of the fixing unit or if that is not the fix it may coast more then it is worth.
