I need to buy a new pan and paddle. The machine is still working great after 7 years but the metal finish is coming off into our bread off both the pan and the paddle.

Goto the amazon website your parts are there the bread pan and bread kneeder

  • Anonymous Jan 21, 2011

I can't find anything for a Kenmore Bread maker on Amazon. They have other pans and paddles that look similar but how would I know if they are compatible?
Right now I'm trying to decide if I should just buy a new bread maker. We don't buy store bread so I've come to really depend on my machine and have made hundreds of loaves of bread over the 7 years I've used it. With the metal flakes in the bread I know I need to quit using it.
    Thanks!

Mixing paddles come off during mixing, am using teflon tape on shaft to hold paddles on, what is a better fix?

Sound like you need new shafts or paddles and I know the paddles can cost $30 each. so think about a new model or buy one at a thrift store and try those paddle or use the machine. I got a great one for $10 . :)

My toastmaster bread machine 1142, the bread sticks to the pan and the kneading tool gets lodged in the bread after it is baked. What can I do to prevent this or do I need to buy a new bread pan and...

The next time you make your bread use the same recipe but use 2 table spoons less liquid. Having the paddle come off in the bread is not abnormal. If the bread sticks to the pan again let me know [email protected] Sometimes my paddles stay in the loaves sometimes they do not.

First bread machine, one paddle would not spin, also black gunk accumulated under paddles - great customer service - bread machine replaced. 2nd bread machine, another malfunction - again, great customer...

Hi...The black gunk under the paddle seems to be caused by the sealed bearing located on the bottom of the bread pan. When this seal breaks the lubrication leaks out. It's a problem with the bread pan and not the machine. Seems the new machines cost more and are made with really cheap bread pans. I've had good luck with my Sunbeam and it's warranted for a year. Just my opinion....Hank

I am getting bits of pieces of silver flaky looking stuff in my bread dough. What is this - stuff from the paddle? The machine is making a high squealing noise?

That is probably the nonstick coating coming off the paddle or your breadpan or both. Are there scratches in your pans or paddles surface where you can see the metal under the non-stick coating? If yes, that is probably what you are seeing in your bread. I would tell you to try to get a new pan and paddle if they are scratched, but if your machine is squealing too then you should try to get a new or good used machine as you would end up spending more on the pan and paddle plus repairs to end the squealing, so you should just replace your whole machine. I have some models that are like new if you are interested in buying one. I would have to go through ebay and sell the almost new/new ones for $40.00 including shipping if you are east of the Mississippi. If you shop on ebay you can get one from me or of course others sell them there too.

B2300 Bread Machine: Good morning - Both paddles in the machine come of...

I am experiencing the same thing. I've spoken with a rep at 1-800-231-9786 and they said that if my machine was still under warranty they would replace the paddles and the pan. I purchased mine in 2007 and therefore my cost to replace the above would be $68.00 Cdn. That's getting close to purchasing a new machine. Does anyone have any ideas... wrap the rotating shafts with plumber's tape or anything else that might ensure the paddles will stay in place?

Kneading blade stuck

Hi,
The little bearing that turns the paddle is frozen. You will need to get a new bread pan. This happened to me after 7 years of use. If under warranty have them replace it. It was about $25.00 for a used bread pan on ebay, so I just bought a new machine at Wally World (Walmart) for $52.00.

Removing finished bread from pan

Before the baking cycle begins, remove the bread pan ,shake out the batter onto a piece of waxed paper, remove the paddle from the bread pan, place batter back into the pan, close lid. This way you only have a small hole in the finished loaf. I prefer the 1.5 pound rye bread, and set a kitchen timer for 2 hours 5 minutes-when the "shape" cycle finishes,we remove the paddle.
This is listed in my manual on page 76,item # 7;heading is METHOD.
Front of the manual lists the times for the cycles, just add them up.
(When you dump the batter back into the pan,try to pat down the rough edges,it looks better).

Parts for Welbilt ABM3500 Bread Maker

I found some parts at the gourmet depot website for Welbilt bread machines.  Try www.thegourmetdepotco.com, and search on Welbilt under "parts."  I found several dough blades there.  Not sure about other parts, though.
