My Panasonic KX-ft67 is answering every call at the first ring. I need to change the answering mode to get that the machine awaits untill the fourth ring to answer. I lost the instruction book. Tanhk you very much, Jorge Osorio [email protected]
Plug the power cords in, push the power buttons on and get everything up and running. Sounds simple, but lack of power is the culprit quite often.
Step 2Check for a phone connection in the correct input jack. Some printers with fax capability have more than one phone jack so you can hook up an answering machine or another phone "downstream" from the printer. Consult your instruction manual to determine the right connection for your printer.
Step 3Swap out the all-in-one printer for a working phone to find out if the problem is in the phone line coming from the wall. Once you hook up the phone, you should get a dial tone if the line is working. Remember to reconnect the all-in-one printer after you're done.
Step 4Open up the machine and examine the feed path for the documents that you fax. Clear any obstructions you may find. Repeat this process with the paper tray and the path that copy paper takes through the all-in-one printer.

KX-TGA101S is an add-on handset for a Panasonic KX-TG1000 series cordless phone system. One of the models that is compatible with the handset is the KX-TG1032S. You can find the manual for the phone system on the product page here: https://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG1032S.html . Assuming that you do not have voice mail from your telephone provider, you can change the number of rings from the Answering Device Settings Menu.
Start with the phone system in standby (no incoming or outgoing calls) mode. Press Menu and use the up/down keys to navigate to Answering Device. Press OK to enter the sub-menu. Navigate to Settings and press OK. Navigate to Ring Count and press OK. Use the up/down arrows to choose a new number of rings. Press OK to save and press Off to exit the menu system. Note: if the ring count is set to Toll Saver mode, the answering system will pick up on the second ring if there are new messages. It will pick up the incoming call on the fourth ring if there are no new messages.
See page 31 of the manual for the KX-TG1032 for this information. See page 23 for the way to navigate through the menu and a list of the menu tree items. The current link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg1031_en_om.pdf .

To change the ring count, refer to the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have on your phone line. If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and identify the answering machine or voicemail system.
