I had you put norton 360 and had internet security for a month. I was to have a refund. I had a pop up telling to change to 360 norton. I had norton put in 360 norton and had the internet security take out . Iwas told that I could get a refund.

The Norton 360 have different versions Norton 360 premier, Standard, Net book Edition

download the installation file run that then it will remove old version if it's installed

after installation you can activate that using the key.

Its a subscription version to try for a month. So if you want to keep it you have to buy a license version.

1. Uninstall any third party security softwares. 2. Download and Run Norton Removal Tool. 3. Do a fresh Install of Norton 360. 4. Run a full System Scan in Safe Mode. 5. Check the Norton 360 in Normal Mode.

Best thing to do is to take the complete package of Norton cack to the shop where you got it from and get a refund then go to www.eset.com and buy thier package

yeah its symantec its rubbish - get a refund, un install it and get avg free or avast ( free for home use and only needs to be registered once every 18 months or so ) and both are very good - there are plenty of better free alternatives.
I would suggest backing up your data and re installing your operating system and drivers ( excluding symantec )

You can go to www.norton.com and download a 30 day trial for norton 360 if your particular to it. Otherwise you can purchase the full version from there too. Although if you want a good Internet Security Suite i would recommend Kaspersky.

read carefully..Its probably telling you to insert the CD so it uninstalls and then re-installs Norton 360. When it uninstalls it gives u a warning message "you will loose 366 days. .. "

Just a Note: Norton 360 will slow your PC down. and do unwanted things. I have trouble shot issues involving Norton 360 and wireless connection issues amongst many others.. If you can return it your better off without it.

It is cheaper and more effective to purchase such products as:
AVG or Kaspersky
or maybe even a Opensource Freebie like:
Calmwin from Sourceforge.net
