First, on your computer desktop. left click on START. Next, left click on CONTROL PANEL, and left click on PRINTERS. Find your printer on the PRINTERS window, and RIGHT CLICK on the icon. From the drop-down menu, left click on PRINTING PREFERENCES. Use the settings to set up the printer for the paper size and orientation you want to use.Click APPLY , then OK buttons to apply any changes you make. If that does not help, check the side paper guides in the paper source you are using. If they are not against the paper on both sides, the paper will not align properly with the image. Move the guides snug but not tight against the paper. If the guides are too tight, paper may not feed. If moving the guides does not solve the problem, try loosening the guides and reposition the paper until the image is properly aligned. Then see in your owners manual if there is an adjustment called SIDE-TO-SIDE REGISTRATION, and follow the proceedure to adjust the side-to side paper alignment.

Give printer model if its a dmp then you have to check the roller and roller top cover so if that is in wrong position then set it on right position simple, or if it is a laser printer then you have go service centre because you can't open by yourself so i suggest you to go service centre for laser or ink jet but dmp you can do your self

Panasonic KX-P7110 printer won't print from the auto feed tray, shows error when printing is attempted.

Hello,
Please check the entire length of the paper feed path from input to output for a small piece of paper that is stuck causing a "Paper Jam".
You are lucky that you can still print manually as this usually shuts a printer down until the jam is found and removed!
Good Luck!

Cancel printing/receiving long, unwanted fax?

You should show an Icon in the task bar when printing, right click it.Then click cancel print job.You can also get there by start menu, then click printers and faxes. Then click your printer and cancel print.

Note:you can always do a print preview by clicking the little arrow(in explorer)next to the printer Icon. Then pick what pages you want to print, click apply, then print.Hope this helps?

Printing invitations

if you are printing from word 2010 and have an HP printer;
-set up your document on your screen how you want it to look, go into your print preview section, your printer should be listed towards the top of your page and directly under it should be "printer properties" click here, select the features tab in the next window and change your paper size to the correct size for your document.
-you may also need to go into the page layout tab in the main screen, select the size button, click on "more paper sizes" at the bottom of the window, select the paper tab and change the size of your paper again to the size of your document
-lastly, while in the "paper" tab window select "print options" towards the bottom right corner, left side of new screen click on advanced, scroll down to print and make sure there is NOT a check in the box that says "scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes

Cuts off left hand few letters in a word

Either put the paper closer to the other side of the glass, or go into the settings to see if it is copying or scanning at 100% See if gives you the option of stretch or shrink to paper size. Also, see if it says Crop Automatically versus copying or scanning entire glass. If there is a choice between Automatic, Home Mode, or Professional Mode, try each one. There is always a reset button to return to original defaults. If you are given the option of seeing a preview first, always do that, even though it takes a little longer.

Printing letters

If you are printing a page from online, copy and paste it onto a word processor first, then print. Printing it straight from the page may cause that problem in any printer.

Margins not recognised

Hi lerona - I have a 5600C series HP printer. You might try these tips:
Do a Print Preview to be sure the document looks right on your screen, then in Print Setup, down in the Zoom box check the Scale to Paper Size to be sure it isn't set for the wrong paper size. There's an arrow to scroll to the size you're printing on.

Then click Properties, then the Paper Quality tab. There's an item that says "minimize margins". You could try printing with the box checked (if it's not now), or unchecked (if it IS now) and see the difference. Click the Effects tab and be sure the "normal size" box says 100%, and that there's no check mark in the "borderless printing" box.

I print documents all the time, as well as photos, smaller sized items, cards, etc., and have had no trouble with the margins printing differently than my Print Preview shows on my screen. I hope these tips help you. Good luck, and feel free to email me if you have any success with my suggestions.

Brother MFC-8460N ... No Paper response

I had the same problem with a customer, to resolve this issue:

> Go to the printers folder
> Right click on the printer
> Go to printing preferences
> Under the paper source settings change it from autoselect to Tray1 and save the settings.

This will force the printer to print to tray1.

That fixed it for me, hope it works for you too.
