Yes, if you take it apart you'll find that the trigger isn't allowing air to pass through to the veins of the impact wrench. It's a relatively simple mechanism, where maybe something is broken inside.

If it were blowing air but the veins were stuck, I would say, lubricate it. But, if no air goes through it at all, then the trigger housing houses the problem part.

Have you tried to disassemble the air wrench?

If you are still looking for this part I would call power tool repair at 330-630-0022 and order that part number. From the breakdown it seems you have the correct part number

When the trigger is pulled air blows out a vent at the bottom and the anvil doesn't rotate.

If debris enter the gun, over time the vanes will not move into proper positon and react to air-flow. Vanes can become stuck if stored for long period of time. Pour small amount of diesel fuel into the gun and activate the trigger. The fuel should come out clean, if however black gunk comes out, keep adding fuel until gun is clean. Eventually all the the debris will be washed out and restore function. Good luck

Put 4 or 5 drops of oil into the air line opening. Connect an air supply and burst the trigger a few times. The settings are 1-less 4 more. It's all up to the application and they are not specific settings.

Sand has entered my CP734 impact wrench.

Check the following website. It is a pdf file, so you will need Acrobat Reader, which is available on this website. After it loads, it lists various CP model numbers on the left side, so scroll down to 734 and click on it( it says 734 OBS) and it will open an exploded view of the breakdown of the CP 734 impact wrench. On the Acrobat toolbar, you can expand the picture as much as you want to and print it.

Good Luck!

Where is the o-ring for the air intake

The problem is in the trigger valve and is a very common problem with these and other brand, some even do that when new! Most people just live with it but you can dissassemble the gun and try.
