All these given solutions are not catering your problem unfortunately; because your problem seems to be the following "You are not at all able to find your bluetooth headset from your phone, pairing is a far off thing" right?

So, here is the simple solution that no one has given here and on other sites (I myself was confused, but finally found it out):

1. Turn bluetooth of your Mobile on.
2. Put it into "shown to all" mode.3. Now pick your bluetooth device, and simultaneously click on the multifunction key (The middle one that blinks) and the "+" volume key for around 6 seconds or more; you'll see that blue blinking light will become static (and it means that your bluetooth device is now "Searchable" by your phone).
4. Start "Pair new device search" from your Mobile, and your Phone will find the bluetooth device.5. It will ask you for a passcode, just enter 0000.6. Pair both devices now.7. The static blue light (Which became static when you pressed the middle multifunction key and "+" volume key together for some seconds) will now start blinking again (in a 3 sec interval approximately).
Your handsfree is now connected, do a test call and confirm.
In case you find any volume problem, then know that the default volume after connecting a bluetooth handsfree is at low level, so just increase it using your Phone's volume keys/ controls and it shall be all fine.
Vote up if it helps, it is the genuine solution of this problem though; I tested it several times. :)

PS: I'm writing this while logging off in haste, pardon any spell/ typo mistakes. :P

Hello Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the directional keys and choose Tools then Bluetooth. Scroll down to where it says 'Bluetooth' and click the Scroll key to turn Bluetooth on. Click again to turn Bluetooth off.
Now scroll to where it says 'My phone's visibility'. If it says 'Hidden' click the Scroll key so that it says 'Shown to all'. Now you will be able to connect to other devices.
Set up a unique name for your phone Now scroll down to where it says 'My phone's name' and click the Scroll key. Enter a new name for your phone to replace the preset 'Nokia N95', then choose OK. The new name should be displayed on screen.
Hope this help, good luck

Good day,

The problem you are experiencing is really not a problem but rather lack of information. The iphone4 is only compactible with the apple iphone bluetooth headset, any other bluetooth headset will not work with the iphone4.
Hence, its now obvious to you that the iphone4 and the nokia n95 bluetooth headset are incompactible, therefore i will suggest you get an apple iphone bluetooth headset.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Connection problem between a nokia n95 8gb and zumo 550

I have recently purchased a Zumo 550 and successfully copied across selected phone book entries from a Nokia N95 without the need to use any additional apps:-

1) Assuming the N95 and Zumo are paired via BlueTooth
2) In N95 Contacts - use 'Mark' / 'Mark All' as necessary to select the contact entries you wish to transfer to the Zumo 550
3) In N95 Contacts - select 'Options' then 'Send Business Card' then 'Via Bluetooth'
4) Select the Zumo 550 device from the list of paired Bluetooth devices
5) Contact data is transferred from N95 phonebook to Zumo 550 phonebook

Interestingly, Garmin don't seem to list the Nokia N95 as being a supported device on their website, but the above process worked for me!!
