My nokia 5233 shows system error and the menu icons have been deleted. When I touch the telephone pad the messaging menu opens. Help

Delete Messages - Verizon Messages - Android® / Windows® Tablet

My nokia 5233 mobile in c drive almost full and all data not show never working data. But i have format my mobile on *#7370# but whatsup application can't shut.
please say me any suggetion

Delete messages from you phone or simply insert an SD card and set the default message store to your SD card. The same goes for picture music and so if you dont have an 'SD card installed.

I had a similar problem few months ago. Whenever i try to open my inbox the phone restarts. I connected the phone to a Computer with a nokia PC suite. Then i opened the messages folder in the PC suite on my computer. I could see 2-3 messages with Chinese characters in them. But without taking any risk i deleted all the messages from my phone using the Nokia PC suite. My problem was solved. Try doing it...hope this will help.

Formatting the memory card is of no help . Remove the battery for 10 minutes and set it back. Now open menu-settings- restore factory settings- key in: 12345.
Now open tones and select the incoming message tone and volume. try this out and it must work or the phone software has some errors and might need reinstallation of the software.
Repeat with the battery out for more time and the memory card taken out.

dudue u need to format ur phone in other words flashing it can b done by 1.download software updater from nokia.com 2.connect it via data cable to pc 3. make sure there is sim present in cell 4.battery should be full 5,start update

This is common on the Nokia N79. Your Sim card probably has text messages saved on it and the flashing icon is showing your sim sms memory is full. In the inbox go to the setting and view the sms on the sim, delete them and the message icon should stop flashing.
