Power indicator /red/ and warning led/red/ are lighting after ea 15 sec. a lamp never start and fans goes in OFF mode. I checked power supply lines S5V,S-5V,S16V on the Main Board . I checked unit lamp ballast -resistors,diodes and transformer and can not find any fault. Do You have any solution or I have to continue to check power starts signal?

3. Error Code Operational Check

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down" and not have been switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational

Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to "12" No Error.



Pressing the front panel "DEVICE" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and holding for 5 seconds,

activates the Error Code Mode. The LED flashes denoting a two digit Error Code, or indicating no problem

has occured since the last Initalization.



Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.



• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.



Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED will flash two times, pause, and then flash three times.

the clicking sound hopefully is the high voltage trying to start the lamp, but for some reason there may be a connection problem between the lamp and the projector power supply.
take the lamp out.

look at the lamp and check that the 2 connecting plugs are ok.
then look inside the projector at the power sockets that connect to the lamp (when it's installed).
check that the pins are not damaged or pushed down too far to prevent the lamp plugs making a proper connection with the power sockets in the unit.

Replace bad electrolytic caps on power supply module,or just replace power supply, that should fix your problem.

i have the exact same error with same projector. did you manage to solve this?

my status led blinked red 6 times indicating a "lamp error" which wasn't helpful. i also tried removing and replacing lamp but didn't work.

Note: If the Lamp will not light after attempting turning on the
power 2 or 3 times, the Lamp, the LCD Power C.B.A. or the
LCD Main C.B.A. may be defective.

remove back panel. blow out all the dust from all the components except the fan on the right.
Vacuum out all the dust.
Have you replaced the lamp? that would help too.
There are 2 small red lamp. One indicates HEAT problem. The other one is the LAMP indicator.

Three blinks - B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672.

Please describe the status of the LED indicator. No LED would indicate a failure of the power supply. I can help you with that.
Flashing red would indicate a fan/lamp problem. Some lamps fail prematurely before the lamp hours are up.
If it is the power supply, no lights at all, I can get you running again. These units have fragile power supplies that can burn out with the slightest power surge. A UPS goes a long way to save future headaches.

cutta, you will most often hear a click on boot then the fans start up and lamp will then fire. The picture will start to show up....at what point does it shut off? and do you hear a click when the tv is turning off? Is it the complete tv shutting down, fans and everything that turns off? If you see a Power, Status or Lamp light after it shuts off the below are what they mean if there is an issue. The ?Power LED Light? blinks/flashes (1/2 sec delay) and then flashes again denoting a two digit Error Code indicating no problem or an error has occured since the last Initalization. i.e. "Power light" blinks 3 times (1/2 second delay) and then blinks 4 times then 1 sec delay and repeats a few times.
