W3502 emachine SM Bus Controller driver

Looks promising. It's an INF fie which are driver files. Download, extract, and direct Device Manager where to install driver from. The worst that can happen is it won't install, or you have uninstall / delete. Better than those fake drivers you mentioned.

I'm trying to install the original splash/bios screen for an emachines w6409. i downgraded windows vista back to windows xp with the disk that came with the computer. i was missing drivers so i looked...

XP ran form 2001 to 2014 and ended then 100$ DEad as in
StaR TREK "HE'S DEAD JIM , DEAD"
XP is A virus magnet (from H3LL")_
99% of all non OEM drivers found via google are virus infected.
the coin cell battery is dead, if is can never be ignored.
the tower sticker is OEM only and will not work with retail disks
only with OEM emachine install disks
and same goes with the reverse of that, retail coa on OEM disk fails
and now MS ended it all, DOA , EOL, kaput.

well, bios never ever ever works with the battery dead it will never happen, PC 101 class day 1 facts as are bad HDD..

what can work are hacked XP install disks that are now neutered.
others hack out the reg features. not asking for COA again.
but all those are infected too
why not just get a real PC, 2010 and newer and load w10=64b

like a fine DELL 3020MT or wow 9020 MT pure love and very cheap.
expelled from silly business's as knee jerk upgrade and our GAIN.

The above drivers support Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows XP Professional

I am missing the SM Bus controller in the device manager tab on my emachines t3580. Running fresh install of Win XP Home. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Go to the eMachines website here http://www.emachines.com/support/drivers.html and it will present you all the drivers needed for you machine running XP. Download the chipset first then the VGA graphics then restart and your problem should be taken care of.

Good Luck

HI,

e-machines are only a brand-name Of computer.
If you have a close look at your motherboard, and find the board number ( sometimes by the Ram Slots ) and with e-machines theres usually a piece of paper with a number on.
I,ll assume that your board is Foxconn. Your better off going to Foxconns site, and downloading the drivers from there. The drivers your missing are Base-system drivers. If you Have A VIA Chipset on the motherboard. You,ll probably download The VIA 4 in 1 driver, this should solve your problems.

Alternatively, if you,ve installed Windows XP, ensure you have SP2 And SP3 installed Also.

If you are recieving "Error 22: A critical error has occurred while initializing DirectDraw." while trying to play Diablo 2, Warcraft III, or World of Warcraft, it is because direct draw has been disabled. I reenabled mine by installing the catalyst at http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html for Windows XP Media Center Edition - Radeon - Radeon X300 Series.. Then use the Catalyst Control Center to renable DirectDraw.
