GE Microwave Spacemaker2. The toouch screen does not respond

The keypad has a short in the membrane, or the microprocessor control board has failed.

The probem is in the keypad or the microprocessor control board. I recommend a professioal to assess.

:) Luckily, these GE touch screen models can now be affordably repaired.

yes replace the keypad

If the model number you have listed is correct, you turn the Child Lock feature on/off by pressing and holding the "Clear/Off" button for three seconds. The instructions are on page 28 of the Owner/Operator Manual.

You need to unplug the microwave and leave it like that for a day or a few hours it probaly just needs to be reset !

The code f3 is a short in the key pad for more than 60 seconds
go to GE .com and enter your model # and you can get a price to do it your self

Most likely problem is your Smart card has fried.Its located on the removable panel that your display is attached to.If you remove the screws that open this Clock Panel (un plugged from power first) the display panel will swing down and you will see the circuit board I mention (Smart card/control board ).Look for a visible burn on this board.If you see one ,replace the board. Please Rate This !

reset the control panel/trest again same thing happened, if the same something wrong IC progaming.
