I just bought a lexmark 6500 series and i do not have any instructions on how to work this product. is there an instruction booklet you can send me by mail or email?

It coudl be a printer driver issue. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
First, uninstall your existing print driver. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 6500 Series > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot pc when prompted.
Second, visit the Lexmark website to download and re-install the Lexmark X6500 printer driver. Select your operating system > download > execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
Lastly, after the re-install process, try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. Then on your computer, launch the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility by inserting the installation cd into your computer's hard drive or by going to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 6500 Series > Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Use the Check symbol instead. Here's the Lexmark 6500 Series User's Guide to give you a more detailed instructions on how to use the Fax feature for your X6570 printer.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

This link will take you to a manual for the Lexmark 310/315 series. It doesn't show the P310 Photo Printer exactly but the information can be helpful. On Page 15 is tells you how to get the printer to print exactly the picture you want. You need to refer to the instructions that came with your camera for PictBridge connection and usage. It helped me.
