Attemp to install software to my PC. I receive a window saying I need "net framework" v2.0.50727. I

is this your personal machine or a company provided one.

if it is a company provided one you will need to get one of the IT people to sort it out.

if this is your personal one, make sure your user account is set to administrator, to do so go to control panel then user accounts and then click change account types and change to the appropriate one.

if this still doesn't work skip this version and install .NET framework 4.5

It may not be compatible considering that windows 7 is a 64 bit operating system and all previous OS were 32 bit

Only the software listed for Windows 7 should be installed so install the Windows 7 version of .net framework. It actually sounds like an update rather then the entire piece of software.. You should be fine installing this..

It sounds like you have an application that is using the .NET Framework. Uninstall .NET Framework v2 from Control Panel, Add-Remove programs.
Re-install the .NET Framework software by running your windows update. Don't forget to rerun the windows update until there is no more update. Throughout the process you will need to reboot. Once completed reinstall your game.
