WE PURCHASED THIS TV A LITTLE OVER A YEAR. I WENT TO TURN IT ON AND NOTHING, NO LIGHT NO SOUND NOTHING. CAN THIS BE A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER BOX INSIDE? IF SO WHERE CAN I SEND TO FIX?

tv shut off ...power on and insignia comes on screen for 2 seconds and then goes blank and remote will not turn it on or off....

I have to same problem. My tv broke down 1 yr and 2 mo. I checked and they told me to change a power supply and inverter module. I've no clue at all what these things are. Hope this helps.

This sounds like the inverter board has gone out. The inverter board is in charge of turning on and off the back light. If this goes out the TV is still able to fully function meaning you will still get power indicator to turn on, but since the back light is off you cannot see anything on the screen. You will need to replace this part so your TV can be fully functional again. I'm willing to bet it's the main board. Its the board that all the video and audio inputs. What is the model number I could find the part for you. You could change it out yourself, Its not that hard. Let me know.
If you are seeing light then the back light is working. Can you get a menu?Do any of the other video inputs work? If no video but has backlight and no men or any on screen display replace main board.

had turned it on, then it just went off...I tried using different
outlets, unplugging for a moment or 2 and then re-plugging in; nothing.
