Had the same problem. Filter was clean. Vacuumed out the area under the filter. Still had problem. Unplugged the dryer. Removed the hose vent (back of dryer) and checked the exhaust -- all clean. Plugged the dryer back in and was fine. Still going to check the vent to the outside for lint buildup.

SOURCE: the check filter light keeps coming ob to my lg

Clean the vent all the way to the outside.
The dryer will take 4-5 loads to reset the filter sensor.

Mahe sure the vent is not smashed behind the dryer.

The check filter light is just a reminder light and cannot be reset.  Nothing to worry about.  Just keep the filter clean before each use.

SOURCE: Bosch WTL5400 Condensation Dryer

We continuously had a similar problem with signals forever coming on after just a few dryer loads. The problem was corrected when we took the back off of the dryer and cleaned the recirculating fan and removed a rubber glove that somehow came through the system and blocked the air flow at the heating element. Low air flow is the same as plugged filter and apparently the computer in our German-made Bosch dryer simply says that. We cleaned the area well, removed all traces of the glove and restored the dryer to operation. We have not had the filter problem since. We routinely clean the heater area at the back of the dryer to maintain our sanity. And we now dry our clothes. Bosch never responded to my query.

My dryer keeps saying Lint Filter Problems and cutting off however the lint filter is clean. Because of this issue I the dryer will not stay on long enough to actually dry the clothes. It continuously...

try two things. first, run it empty without the lint filter installed. if it gives you the same error message, install the filter, but disconnect the flexible duct connected to the back of the dryer. try it again. if it still wont work, you will have to get it serviced and cleaned out. if it works with the ducting removed from the back, your dryer duct is clogged up. check your yellow pages for dryer duct cleaning. The lint filter error message is just your machines way of saying it is not getting enough air flow. It can be caused by a clogged duct also.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with the first thing you should do is to remove the lint filter and clean the lint out of inside where the lint screen goes. After this unplug the unit for 5-10 minutes and then push & hold the start/pause button for 10-15 seconds and reconnect the unit. If still it won’t work then it’s the sensor that has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

The dryer keeps shuting off and saying check filter

Check the rear exhaust vent at the bottom back of the dryer. If it is clogged it can cause the dryer to "overheat", that is ... if the vent is clogged with lint and debris a fire could start if there was enough heat.

Please rate this answer for me. Thank you

How do I clean the lint out of the Kenmore Eite He3 past the lint screen?

Remove lint screen. Remove bottom front kick panel (usually three to four screws on very bottom front), There is a metal lint filter air duct assembly that has three to four screws holding it on. Usually one on each upper side of the duct, and one that has a bent metal bracket holding the bottom to the blower housing. This metal duct is dead center in the dryer under the door and ducts over to the bottom left. Remove the screws and pull the duct down and out. You can now clean this assembly. Needless to say, always unglug the dryer or turn it off at the circuit breaker before doing this job. I recommend that you do this at least once a year on the dryer, and clean out the washer lint and coin catcher at least once a year. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists.

It says to check filter I clear the lint filter with every load what am I suppose to check

Grab a flashlight and look inside the lint trap housing in the dryer. Clean the lint there with something like a bottle brush. If this didn't help - disconnect the vent in the back and try to run the dryer for some time. If that check filter light turns off - clean your dryer vent.

I have a large capacity front load LG electric dryer. I keep getting the "check filter" message & the filters are clean. The dryer will not stay on. HELP!

The message does not only refer to filters, badly written.
There is an air flow restriction that the machine senses and is warning about.
check the fan and fan housing for lint that has got past the screens, then pull the dryer away from the wall and check the exhaust duct for lint, all the way to the wall
then check the outside wall vent for lint build up in the rodent screen

Check Filer

hmmm..no lint screen means that you have lint buildups inside the machine...check the air lines, and in and out for the vents..first.
