Hi, I have looked to expecting to find one but ran into the same thing you did. I didn't try Sunbeam Oster though, maybe they would have one. I buy and sell and repair bread machines sort of as a hobby. If you ebay, I have a cuisinart and your model of sunbeam up for sale this week. If you ebay and are interested in just getting a replacement machine the one I have advertised has never been cooked in so the pan is new. If you ebay just type this Item # in the ebay search bar:
260688801609
best wishes and happy breadmaking!
That is probably the nonstick coating coming off the paddle or your breadpan or both. Are there scratches in your pans or paddles surface where you can see the metal under the non-stick coating? If yes, that is probably what you are seeing in your bread. I would tell you to try to get a new pan and paddle if they are scratched, but if your machine is squealing too then you should try to get a new or good used machine as you would end up spending more on the pan and paddle plus repairs to end the squealing, so you should just replace your whole machine. I have some models that are like new if you are interested in buying one. I would have to go through ebay and sell the almost new/new ones for $40.00 including shipping if you are east of the Mississippi. If you shop on ebay you can get one from me or of course others sell them there too.
Hello, Either the blade is sticking or the belt is loose. Take the pan out and see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. The paddle should turn nice and free. If it doesn't then the lubricated bearing the paddle rotates on is sticking. This could be due to wear. Put some warm water in the pan and let it sit. Try a few times...DO NOT put the whole pan in water...just fill it. If that's a no go the lubricated bearing is frozen and the pan needs to be replaced. If everything is fine in the pan, then the belt is loose. Belt, pulleys and motor are located in the base of the machine. Remember to unplug first before working on it.. Hank
Hi, If you take the pan out of the machine and can't turn the paddle freely by hand, then the sealed bearing is frozen. You can try putting warm water in the pan and soaking it. After a few tries if it does not free up then the sealed bearing is broken and bread pan needs to be replaced. Good Luck..Hank
