Computer doesn't reconize my gpx mp3 player i need the driver or software?

There might be no driver installed in your system to detect this device. Try to downlaod and install it.

YOU NEED A DRIVER TO RECOGNIZE SEARCH THE GOOGLE FOR THE DRIVER

Take a pen or other such sized item and hold down the RESET on the backside of the player. This will reset the entire player back to the factory default.

Firstly What pc are you running and what os are you on
did the pc ever recognoise the mp4 player or is this the first time you connected iy

If this problem occurs then your ML648B needs to be formatted.

1. Connect your ML648B to your computer with Windows XP or later.
2. By default your computer will recognize ML648B as GPX MTP Device. Press the POWER button from top of your ML648B, to change it to USB mode connection. You will also see USB on the screen of ML648B.
3. ML648B will now mount 2 drives, one as Tools (as CD-Drive) and second as Removable Disk (Drive) – under My Computer on your Windows Desktop.
4. Right click your mouse and then select the Format option. When the Format Removable Disk window appears select the Start button to start formatting your MP3 player.

Correct - no software - and none is available from GPX

I just bought this mp3 player myself...And it pretty much functions like my last one...The drivers are preintalled...you simply have to use Microsoft Media Player to Sync your playlists to your mp3 player...and "TADA" you're done..So, unfortunetly, or perhaps fortunelty (if you consider the nightmare / prison "iTunes" software forces you to use) there is not set / designed software / program for the GPX mp3 player.....So basically, Use Microsoft Media Player to interface........

I solved the problem on my win98se OS by using the drivers from GPX from another mp3 player ( MW6347DT ). Before, it did not find the pci to usb drivers, etc. Now, all the proper drivers are being found.
