I have installed the router, but it does not recognize it

when you first installed the printer with the other router, did you use software to set up the printer? If you did, you'll need to do it again with the new router.

Go into the control panel and select add printer. Follow the instructions and the printer should be recognized.

Router setup
If you are using the cd that comes with the router, that is the problem. You do not have to use the cd. Go to the control panel and un-install the program that the cd installed. then:
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.

Did you install software for the router? In order to work,software must be installed first. If you don't have program cd go to maker's website and download it.

Check if you have the driver installed for Local Area Network. If not download it and check. This should work then.

You cannot install the Belkin CD on PS3, you can access your external HDD only on wired or wireless devices that has operating systems like Windows or MAC. With PS3, we can play on the network or stream videos.

OFTEN the software MUST be installed BEFORE the unit is connected.

SOMETIMES the software MUST be installed in "safe mode" of Windows.

The bin file is a firmware for the router and not a driver. That's why your computer couldn't recognize it. What you can try initially is rest the router first. Look for rest button at the back of the router. Hold it down for about 20 seconds then unplug the power for 30 seconds. Unplug the power to the cable modem as well. Wait for 1 minute. Make sure the modem is connected to the Internet/WAN port of the router and your PC is connected to port 1 on the router. Power on the modem first, wait for the lights to go solid. When they are all solid, plug the power to the router, wait for the lights to stop blinking. Check now if you can go online.

If all fails, you need to do a MAC Cloning. Consult the manual on how to do it. Hope that helps!
