Good morning! I have always used my PV-DV400 Drivers with my computer Windows 98. Now I get a new computer with Windows 7 64 bit and I could not to tranfer my videos from the camera anymore. How can I solve it ?

Even though you like xp its an obsolete OS, when you get used to it, Windows 7 is not that bad. But new computers do not come out with XP drivers. btw.. I'm still on XP.

You need to download Drivers for your Lexmark X1180 Printer to install it on new computer.
You can download these drivers from here according to your Operating System :

You need to update it from windows 7 updates.connect it and search from device driver section

To transder minDV content to your computer, you will need a capture card. It is available in a decent camera/studio materials shop.

You can get the drivers here. If that is your camera the pv-dv400.

The printer doesn't support windows 98. supported systems are:

Note that there are no drivers for 98 and it won't be simple to get the printer to work with the 98.. I would recommend upgrading to 2000 or windows xp. if your computer is from 1998 it might be better to buy a new computer.

Todays printers don't work with 10 year old computers anymore.

linux would work on the computer for sure, and so would the printer but using linux is quite complex, you would need to get someone to install it for you and make it look as much like windows as possible, its a whole new system..
