well its not my battery because it turns on it my flash thats not working but like you a it might be a sensor. is the sensor next to the flash!

I have the same problem with no flash. While in the Auto mode, I'm not able to even "click" a picture. The only time when I can click a picture is to set the flash "off". However my pictures turn out really blurry. I was wondering if the flash needs replacement? Please advise.

I assumed this is a typographical error you mean the flash is not going on right? if this is so,

all digital cameras have a small tiny lens on the front, ( not the actual lense) this tiny sensor senses the background and the image you were trying to take a shot, if it does recognize the image is dark then the flash will work, when trying to use at night, try not putting your fingers to obstruct this lenses

or you can put the flash in auto mode if you have, then try, but since it was on as you say, change the battery...

My camera doesnt take pics @ night Maybe flash

First make sure that the camera has fresh batteries. Then see that the flash setting is either 'on' or 'auto' or any graphic mode like a lightning bolt.
If this doesn't help, the flash might be damaged. Any camera shop can check this quickly.

Nikon D60x Blurry night pictures

Try switching to Shutter Prority (S) with a fast shutter speed. If the light is not so good, up the iso to 800 to gain that faster shutter speed..

You do not say the lens in use ? if VR, make sure its switched on or use a tripod.

Hope this helps

i know this is late, but my camera had the same problem.
1. If you go in the setup menu.
2. Push the right button once and scroll down to the menu that says format.
3. It will ask you if you want to erase all data.
4. Select No and everything should be fine.

Nikon S210 flash not working

The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. When I turn off the flash, then it does. What could be the problem? Is it in the settings?

Casio wont take pictures

That lens error msg means that you need to send it in. There is no resetting that you can do to fix that. Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. Tell them what's going on and that you would like to send it in for repairs. If they ask just lie and tell them you already talked to tech support. LOL
