I found driver who works for win7.And probably for XP too.

you can download free your required driver scanprisa 640u from www.driversguide.com but firt you have to sing up and then login to download it.

try this one ..it apear on a search for vista comp. driver and ..indeed does not specify that its for xp ....it says just windows...
a second solution on vista is to install a Everest ultimate with license or at least a trial ...and for vista and windows & usually this programs find drivers for you ...just right click on device and update driver

Drivers for XP and under can be downloaded from BenQ's website.

For Vista you'll need an aftermark app called VueScan. I am using my 640U under vista 64bit. Tried other methods like trying to get the xp driver to work but never had any success. Had it up and running with in minutes with this, and it supports alot of older scanners.
