Our coby RC-032 remote is broken. Got a universal remote but i need the coby code for it. how do i find it?

Still looking for an accurate code. I have a silver with black back GE universal remote (#24944). Code 268 sort of works with my COBY DTV-102 unit. When setting code 268 under the DVD button, you have extreemly lmited capabilities and can change channels but not with up and down channels buttons. and (heres where it gets odd) to select a channel, you need to enter each digit as one less than desired. Examples: you want channel 11, you enter 00; you want channel 28, you enter 17. If you want channel 28.2, then you just enter 17 again. It gets less confusing if you use it often. One other huge drawback is there is no button that works as a menu function to rescan the channels in the COBY software.This is why I'm here. I lost my COBY remote and need to rescan my channels due to recent broadcast channel attenna modifications. So I'm looking for a better code or different solution other than buying a replacement remote or new DTV-102 unit to get the COBY remote. Still looking for an accurate code.
