My wife has thrown away our instructions to our Brinks 44-1030 timer. Due to a shift change at my work, I need to change the times on the timer and I do not remember exactly how. I have tried to change the settings, but they do not seem to be working. I have tried to download what is advertised as "free" manuals for the 44-1030, but I have yet to find any 44-1030 manuals of any sort on any of the sites. Please send me a PDF file for the manual on the 44-1030 timer to [email protected].

Move the dial clockwise until the arrow (marked TIME OF DAY) is lined up with your present time. Numbers on dark gray background are night time hours. Depress outer "teeth" that also correspond with hours of the day & evening (ea. tooth = 1/2 hour) for the chunk of time(s) you want the appliance ON. Plug timer into outlet and appliance into timer. There is a manual TURN ON slide switch on the left of the timer for your convenience as necessary.

Instructions for Brinks 42-1020
1) There are plastic segments located around outer edge of timer dial.
These segments divide each hour into 15 minute periods.
Push segments down like a piano key for all hours you want timer ON-or-OFF
2) Push switch to Auto ON -or- Timer
3) Turn lamp ON, make sure bulb is working, plug lamp into timer.
4) Plug timer into wall.
Manually rotate timer dial clockwise to observe light turning on-off.
This action will say if light is ON when segments are up or down.
5) Unplug timer, and set segments for times you want lamp to turn on-off.
6) Rotate timer dial clockwise until current time lines up with arrowhead located on inner dial
7) Plug timer back into outlet. Dial rotates as time passes, segments click a switch that turns lamp on-and-off.
