There must be a waterleak on the machine, look for the waterdistributor on the leftside of the machine or surch elswhere if this is not the problem, try to fix the occuring leak and dry up the bottom because there is a polistyrene float wich commands a mini-switch and you get the '30 code in front of the machine, and it only sucs out the water out of the machine as result.

Empty it, tip it on its back, mop up the spilt water, reload it and all should be ok. it is a recurring fault on our machine very irritating

I have an AEG F55002ViOP dishwasher. It's making a strange grinding sound and showing error code 30. Can anyone advise how to solve this please.

Error "i30" means that water remains in base because leakage or overflow. In this case, in order to prevent flooding, drain pump running continuously.
When we talk about AEG dishwasher, drain pump works even the power is turned off (must be connected to the wall outlet, otherwise anti-flooding system will not work).
The noise what you heard during operation indicates that something is blocking the drain pump.
Remedy: you should first remove the water from the bottom of the dishwasher and determine leakage then check why the drain pump makes noise.

If you work around the dishwasher, you always take care that appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.

Good luck.

How can I reset an i30 (flood control) error?

you have to mopp up any water in the base of the machine. this can be caused by a leak . a sagging pressure pipe to the pressure switch can do it as well. you can tie it up to stop the sag. its at the front behind the plinth area.

In my case, it turned out that the faucet was completely clogged with scale deposits. Replacing the faucet solved the problem, so by all means, check this before you take any other action!

DISHWASHER AEG 80860

Just fixed a similar problem on an AEG F3A by following other advice on this site. Simply tip the machine forwards on to its door (best empty it of crockery first!!!).and then put it upright again when water has stopped dripping out of it. You wil get quite a bit of water on your floor which I reduced by pumping the water out of the salt resevoir first - but if you don't have a pump just have several towels handy

Aeg 88070im dishwasher

The machine must be opened and side pannels removed. Work on a table as all connections are visable once you have removed front bottom pannel and back bottom pannel. Remove the side pannels for easy access.
