Use google to look up bios hack its 2 pins inside ur pc thats next to a 9vlt battery on the mother board once u find the pins u have to short them out which will clear the bios
Hi,what type of jumpers do you mean? if you want to clear your bios you can use jumpers calls "CLR-MOS" or "CL-ms" or "cms_clr" that it means CLEAR CMOS or CLEAR MOS (stands for mosfet transistors built in mother board eeprom" you can clear it this way: shutdown the pc or laptop find the jumper pull the backup battery up use a screw driver or an iron pin to short the jumpers together(if you dont find the jumpers after pulling up the battery short the battery+- together) wait 10 sec and then pull in the battery after that you have to go to your bios setting and set some data if you dont you may see errors like this in your screen before windows start up: "DMI POOL DATA CHANGED" PRESS F1 TO continue" or something like that; and if you dont know the bios setting ask from experts to do it for you because this setting is too dangerous and may harm your hardware,if you dont know dont touch it, and one more thing: if you mean another jumpers?dont touch it because some mother boards use jumpers for their settings or you may harm your hardware kind regards
You have given little information, but to me it sounds like your hard disk is failing. I would try to get the drive imaged to another one, and replace the drive before you completely lose all your data!
There is a battery on you motherboard and it needs to be replaced. Usually it's a large round lithium battery. If you replace that it should go to default.
I might guess two things: 1. the battery failed (and has been replaced), 2. the motherboard has both SATA and IDE sockets for hard disks and you are using IDE.
If the latter, (and the BIOS settings were lost when the battery went) the BIOS setting would default to SATA hard disks and produce the mesage in the POST screen of, 'The number of disks is not adequate to create a RAID array' and no keys will work in the POST screen except ESC.
Repeatedly press DELETE (on most computers) on start up, ignore the POST screen, and the BIOS settings screen will come up. Check the date and reset, then goto INTERGRATED PERIPHERALS and reset SATA to IDE, save and exit. This cured my problem.
Hi, I run a foxconn mobo myself and yes its a great board. But dont go to the foxconn site looking for downloads. instead go to the VIA site they make the chips and you will get more sense there. If all else fails Foxconn do have a "Contact us " link on their home page. This will give you the company email address and you could request directions to the update site there, the only trouble is it could take weeks to get a response.
