Hello all, model is a 42PX5D-AB, LG branded. went bang and lost cvisual but audio is okay. took apart and found FS2 fuse blown on left hand board. (looking from behind). the greem power light gave a 3 flash blink code. picked up a matching 250v 4 amp fuse and fitted. now the power light comes on green for 7 seconds and goes back to red. it remains off throughout this phase. i am an electrician and air conditioning technician so can understand the basics. i suspect a faulty pcb??? worth fixing, if so DIY price or time to upgrade? thanks in advance.

You will have either a fault with the Y-Sustain board (this I would assume from your description is the board you changed the fuses on) or the buffer board which is the long panel to the left of this board. It is probable one of the drive ICs on this board has blown & a replacement board is the best solution.

Undo the back and see if the fuses are blown. Replace them if they are.

my sanyo 42" just got knocked over and its from homebuy????? im really worried as i put it outside and somr guys in a white van took it away, i only put it there incase my 2 year old got hurt. it was in my driveway, whats the powdery stuff that comes out of it?
