I would say that could indicate that the CD you are trying to burn files onto is either partly written to OR which I suspect incompatible media type. Yes some burners are fussy, dislike certain makes and or types - or + eg CDR+ I've had this problem a couple of times over the 10 tears I've been burning discs and can never recall which ones are the least likely to fail, i.e. some are very compatible with just about all burners. Check Burner specs.

2.It's possible that power jack (socket where you plug the AC adapter) is broken. Remove the motherboard and take a closer look at the power jack. In some cases you can fix the jack by resoldering it on the motherboard. In other cases you have to replace the jack with a new one. Using a multimeter, test if the power goes to the motherboard through the jack.

3. If replacing the AC power adapter and jack on the motherboard doesn't help, most likely you have a bad motherboard. Replace the motherboard.

1. You need to download and install updates from Mcrosoft for your computer!! So make sure you do this.
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Shift+Escape. You should now see the Windows Task Manager or a screen where you can select the Task Manager to be run.
3. Click on the Processes tab.
4. Look for a process(es) named msblast.exe, penis32.exe, teekids.exe, mspatch.exe, mslaugh.exe, enbiei.exe in the list
5. Click the process(es) to highlight it and then click the End Process button. Close Task Manager.
6. Open Windows Registry Editor (click Start -> Run. Type Regedit and click OK or press Enter).
7. Locate the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run entry.
8. In the right hand pane select windows auto update = msblast.exe and delete it.
9. Restart the computer and re-connect to the internet.
10. Scan your computer with recommend anti virus software to remove left overs. Google "free online antivirus scan"

Hi Kathy,

Go to the control panel, then sound. I don't have a vista machine in front of me right now, but there should be a tab for recording. Make sure it tis set to the microphone and not another device. Let me know if this works. If not, I can help further once I look at a vista machine.

If that was a video over the internet you may have downloaded a smart virus. ( ie/ tricks the computer in thinking it is safe ). Shut the computer down and restart it in safe mode. F8 or F11 while it is booting up, ( I could never remember! ). Close all residual tabs/web locations and all other programs. Go to the START icon and restart in normal mode. Me thinks that should do it for you.

most toshiba laptops will have the toshiba installer witch will have all the apps and driver files for your webcam however if your unable to find em then message me here on my gmail i have the drivers on my toshiba u505 witch will work/ [email protected]
