Boot the system in safe mode
1.) restart the system
2.) pump the F8 Key until a screen comes up with different options
3.) select safe mode,

Try right clicking there and see what happens,, I,m guessing here this is a result of damages done by a previoulsy removed virus (GUESSING) it is possible that the same one could have been shard by all 3,,

I'd advise you'd uninstall norton and use the new avg free

Sorry to inform you, but this is the end of your hard disk. GET A BACK UP as sooner as possible, if the disk is still working don't shut it down and move your data.

Sorry for the infos.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

It installs but wnt play

Your computer probably can't handle the game. Make sure your Operating System meets the requirements of what the game calls for. If it does and it still does not play, call the Maker of your game, and they should be able to trouble shoot it. Best of luck, sorry this is happening to you!

yeah i understand whats happening now..

I did net see it before , but looking back i see you use windows xp home ... dont SP3 just blow :(,, try removing it verydoubthful it will work, you need to format and then disable windows updates, go th the security panel in the control panel, click chang the way windows notifies me and thell the windows up date to shut the hell up.. YOu may also want to consider getting windows XP PRO if you actually want to use the updates. personally i hate the updates sice they cause undue stress your case in point ...

Do you have Sp1 installed ? i am assuming you are using windows vista. If not i suggest you download this. if its Xp install SP1 and SP2. In Windows vista there is a problems and reporting app located in the control panel, open it up and see if you problem is there , if it is then there should be an option to find a solution, Try that option.

Also veryify that the systems are fully updated.

Dont rule out a virus or worm yet. the problem you are describing does seem to be this which can infect other system providing you copied the pics to them. Back up the pictures to anoter folder and empty the my pictures folder. save a picture from the internet to it and try right clicking then. If this works then copy back the images one by one to the my pictures folder m everytime right clicking to see if it freezes. Eventually you will find the offending image. you can also try Super Anti Spyware Remover or tuneup utilities and let it do a registery scan.

Let me know what happens
