Need to reset, but don't know ID or password, no idea how to get into it. We got it from Verizon when they hooked up our 2xT1, but they refuse to manage the router. HELP!

That model isn't familiar to me, but try default login ID "admin" and Password "setup". If that doesn't work, the following procedure might allow you to log on and delete the config. That will delete everything, though, so make sure you read out all the configuration info before you reset.

1. Connect the Console cable to the Console port on the Secure Router
2. Connect the other end of the DB-9 Console cable to the COM-1 port on the workstation
3. Start the Hyper terminal (VT-100 or equivalent) application on PC-1
4. Configure the COM1 port for 9600 bps, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, and XON/XOFF
5. Login SR with the factory default login ID "admin" and Password "setup"

1. Login as above
2. type "SR > clear cfg_file system.cfg"
3. message will read "removing contents of '/flash1/system.cfg' ...done.
4. now type SR > reboot

Verizon has a habit of issuing silly passwords for routers. Have you tried: Username: Admin (Also try Administrator)
Password: password
