From Amazon: 12V 4.5Ah Battery $13.15 (Free Shipping) Open the case (6 PH screws) Unplug the old battery & replace with the new. Connectors not the same size but work fine. WaLa new inflator holds a charge & does a lot of tires. Keep it charges more often but you will still loose the battery after a few years.
Mine won't hold a charge either. I've had it for about a year and used it about 6 times. I have the manual and it is no help. I guess the battery is bad after a year. What a bummer. Don't purchase this product.
Yes the battery dying after a year is a common problem. Also the charging transformer Blowing. I do not know if it can be avoided. But I Did love it until the battery stopped holding a charge, and then the transformer blew.
You can have the battery replaced by batteries plus. Just look for a store at http://www.batteriesplus.com/
And i used a radio shack universal charger. I just set it to the same output setting as the stock was, read the label.
I hear the new Grey Model has a battery that lasts longer too

My cordless inflator will not charge, I have used it 4 times.
What is wrong with this product? How can I fix it?
Need the manual just to read I finally plug the DC house charger to electical walk over night. If I can't air my truck tires after these then I may call sears for a manual and I'm wondering about the fuse.
