Hello, I have an older model magic chef gas stove/oven. It has a self cleaning oven option that I tried using. It didn't work, but now the lock light on the stove is still lit up as if it's still in cleaning mode.

Most likely your latch assembly on unit has failed.... try resetting breaker to unit and make sure latch is not half opened or half closed while breaker is off... after checking reset breaker and see if this helps if not then probley going to need a new latch assembly and or possibly the control on unit... self clean on all ranges and ovens are trouble in my opinion they get entirely to hot and usually are ran to long... i know you said yours didn't work leads me to believe there may have already been damage to one of the pcb relays on the control but try the above first and you may luck out.... good luck to you
