Washer runs cycle till spin then wont spin
Try the door switch the washer will do everything but spin if the door switch is faulty
I had a similar problem with my GE front load washer. The drum would go back and forth in the beginning of the cycle to check the weight of the clothes and then nothing. The clock would count down the cycles, water would fill up and then drain out on the rinse cycles but the drum would not spin or agitate. Problem turned out to be the soap. My wife switched liquid soap brands to a more concentrated "HE" type. These units check the turbitity of the water in the beginning of the cycle but too much soap messes the computer up and it gets confused and doesn't know what to do. These machines are supposes to use less soap than conventional units - especially here in the Northwest where the water is soft. Run your unit a couple of times without clothes and soap to clear it out of soap deposits - then use less soap. hopefully that helps. Also do not run small loads. Medium to large loads are better and keep the weights of the loads even (run just all jeans or T-shirts - do not mix together.)
It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.
