sounds like you have the pip(pic in pic) button on; try pressing the pip on remote to see if it removes split screen.

Go here and look at how to disable the OSD lock; try holding the menu key for 15 seconds on the monitor.

My 170S monitor has a brightness scrren in the middle of the screen that I cant get rid of also it is saying OSD main control locked/unlocked what does this mean

The lock/unlock function is for locking out the control buttons on the monitor.

Photo cannot be deleted

Download all the other pics to your computer. Then, format the card in the camera..this will erase everything including the locked pic.

It says 'SIM memory full' in top right corner with a little envelope pic next to it and iv tried everything to get rid of it.there is not one thing saved to it that i can find?

SIM memory can only be full of contacts. You cant save anyother thing to the SIM. May be that the SIM memory is bad. You can ask your service provider to change the SIM with the same number.

Do not post PC related threads to PS3 area
Go to Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs, select the program u wan't to get rid of, and press remove & follow on screen instructions.

Changing menu display

Can you notice the two faint, ...chevrons left and right about two thirds of the way down the screen? tap one of those and it slides the front page back on and puts that shortcut menu back out of the way. I had that problem too for a couple of days.

Card locked

take out your memory card and there should be a little knob
on the side of it, and the knob is probally beside the word Lock
move the knob up and it should be working fine.

"OSD lock" in blue box

The monitor will have the on screen display setting as locked, look at the monitor settins buttons, where you set the brightness etc.
