Hi, You can get any capacity or speed you want, The only thing you need to make sure of is that it is an EIDE drive for laptops and that you have all the drivers and software you will need to reinstall everything back onto your laptop after you install the new drive.
1. Shutdown ur system, and remove the BIOS battery.
2. Reinstall it and start again.
3. You can also replace the battery. (if above steps don't works!)
4. Try to get a updated version of BIOS driver. (if above steps don't works!)
* If u r also hearing any kind of beep sounds, it may be bad RAM (memory). Try this :
1. Shutdown ur system, and remove the RAM.
2. Reinstall it and start again.
try this man:
first: download hiren's boot cd
Second: burn it using nero
third: boot it at hiren's boot cd
fourth: after booting from the hirens bootcd choose bios/cmos
fifth: use bios!
sixth: browse for any passwaord there, but do not use the blaster, it can cause system failure, i think the admin password for a45-s250 is ami..
hope this helps you
The memory is under the keyboard on these models. Remove the plastic piece with the power button, and you will see the screws for the keyboard. Don't forget to rate me (fixya). thanks
To enter the BIOS, press the Esc key when the Toshiba script shows up on the display. You should then get a message to press the F1 key to continue. Press the F1 key and you should be in the BIOS. The Boot sequence is on Page 2 of the Bios settings on many Toshibas. To get to page 2 press the page down key. Make sure you follow the screen prompts because your system may be slightly different.
