I have a 1993 Geo Tracker keeps blowing the 30 amp fuse under the hood when I try to start it I still have lights and horn what could be the problem?

The only 30 amp under the hood is a fuse link that powers the RWAL (rear wheel anti-lock) relay so just remove the RWAL relay and try it. I hope this helps. Take Care.

2010 F250 blinker/brake lights keep blowing fuse inside cab. Is there a fuse/relay under hood? Where is that located, which fuse would it be.

The fuse is in the smart junction block? What is amp rating of fuse? My thought, for testing, use a new wire for proper wire color with inline fuse at sjb to rear lamp. I looked at wiring diagram, appears to be more than one fuse, don't know which one is blowing, the amp rating would help. I can only help with testing.

My 2005 matrix keeps blowing 15amp rear running light fuse every time light get turned on all other lights work fine.whats causing this?

fuses blow because of dead shorts or excess current draw
to blow a 15 amp fuse indicates a dead short
by disconnecting the rear lights , the problem is in something else you have replaced
could be a problem in the head light wiring

Hooked battery up backwards, now lights, horn, wipers, radio, heater blower, fog lights, rear defrost, cig lighter dont work. plus when you change wiper fuses the keep blowing?

Check your main fuse block under the hood. Chance are you have quite a few blown fuses. If not then you will probably be looking at an ECU issue

1998 Chevy Silverado 1500 Brake light fuse blew, replaced, fuse blew again, replaced relay and fuses. both under hood and in side fuse panel. Fuses keep blowing on turn signal and brake lights. Checked...

you obviously have a short to ground on one of the wires to the back (if it was the front the brake shouldn't blow the fuse). the most common problem is usually in a trailer light harness. if you look under the drivers side rear of the truck, down under the tail light there will be a plugin junction. pull this plug-in apart and see if the fuse still blows. if it does then the problem is forward of that connector, if it doesn't then the problem is behind that plugin. be sure to check for "green death" (electrical corrosion) at all joints especially any trailer hook ups.

2003 impala keeps blowing rear parking lamp fuse

Same issue also when the fuse blows i looks my electric seat controls. I found the problem was underneath the hood underneath both the fuse boxes it was a power wire pinched under a plate that holds the fuse boxes on. This wire probably wore through after 140,000 miles of rubbing and being pinched. tell me if it works for you

Gages dont work, 20 amp fuse under hood keeps blowing. turn key motor turns but dont start

Is it the ecm fuse. Check the o2 sensor wires. On this model sometimes they rub on the rear driveshaft and blow fuses.

THE IGN A FUSE UNDER THE HOOD KEEPS POPPING

You have a serious short. The fuse is keeping you from frying the electrical system. Did you make any changes to the vehicle recently? Is it all stock electrical? If so, check the Ignition relay in the alternate fuse panel. If that does not work, post a reply and I'll help you dig further. Hope this helps
